GeoClip Terms of Service

1. Overview

GeoClip is a casual, multiplayer geography game. A free tier is available for all users, with optional paid subscriptions for enhanced features. By accessing or playing GeoClip you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use GeoClip.

2. Eligibility

GeoClip is intended for players who are at least 13 years old. If you are under 13, you may only play with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. User Accounts

GeoClip offers optional user accounts. You may play as a guest using temporary session identifiers, or you may create an account to save your preferences and track your gameplay history.

If you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behavior.

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to disrupt the service.
• Do not upload or share content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or infringes the rights of others.
• You are responsible for your conduct and any content you share while using GeoClip.

5. User Content

If you submit or share any content (e.g., video clips, location suggestions), you grant GeoClip a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and improving the game. You represent that you have the necessary rights to share such content.

6. Intellectual Property

GeoClip and all associated trademarks, logos, game assets, and code are owned by GeoClip or its licensors. You may not use our branding or assets without prior written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

GeoClip is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GeoClip and its creators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of GeoClip.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to GeoClip at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of GeoClip after the changes become effective means you accept the new Terms.

11. Paid Subscriptions

GeoClip offers an optional Pro Plan subscription that provides unlimited rounds per game, unlimited lobbies per day, and early access to new features as they are released.

11.1 Pricing and Billing

The Pro Plan is available for $4.99 USD per month. Your subscription will automatically renew each month on the anniversary of your initial purchase date unless you cancel prior to the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

11.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing to the Pro Plan, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service available at https://stripe.com/legal/consumer. GeoClip does not store your complete payment card information on our servers.

11.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro Plan subscription at any time through your profile settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Pro Plan features until the end of your current billing period. Subscriptions do not automatically renew after cancellation.

11.4 No Refunds

All subscription fees are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial months of service, or for months in which you did not use your Pro Plan subscription.

11.5 Failed Payments

If a recurring payment fails, your subscription may be marked as past due. If payment issues are not resolved, your subscription will be canceled and you will lose access to Pro Plan features. You remain responsible for any outstanding amounts owed.

11.6 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing at any time. Any price changes will be communicated to you in advance via email, and will take effect at your next billing cycle. Your continued use of the Pro Plan after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
